Connect TikTok and manage comments
Connect your own account, read comments in the inbox and choose manual or AI replies.
- 1
Connect the correct account
In your business workspace, open Settings → Channels → TikTok → Connect TikTok. An owner or authorized manager signs in to the business's own TikTok account and approves the requested account, post and comment permissions. You do not need your own developer app or API key. Confirm the connected username before continuing; do not select Moyafa's account for your store.
- 2
Read comments in the inbox
Choose Open inbox and filter by TikTok. Comments and their replies are grouped with a link to the original post. Moyafa checks for updates on a two-minute schedule; large accounts and busy queues can take longer. Use Sync inbox to check now. A post with no comments does not create a conversation.
- 3
Reply publicly or moderate a post
An inbox reply is a public TikTok comment, not a private message. Review it before sending. Under an inbox comment or reply, choose Hide / restore on TikTok, review its current visibility, then confirm Hide or Restore. The comment remains in Moyafa for reference. Your workspace role and TikTok permissions must allow comment management. TikTok may keep a restored comment hidden under its own moderation or privacy rules. Other users' comments cannot be deleted through TikTok's API. Removed comments cannot receive a new reply. TikTok controls the final visibility of a submitted reply.
- 4
Choose manual or automatic replies
In Automations expand reply rules and find AI replies by channel → TikTok comments. Manual only is the default. Automatic replies require the main assistant, available AI credits and your configured schedule; they apply to new comments after activation. Public answers do not use private customer order details. Staff can reply manually in either mode.
- 5
Reconnect when needed
If synchronization needs attention, use Reconnect for the same TikTok account and review the granted permissions. Do not disconnect WhatsApp or Instagram. This connection supports owned-post comments and replies; TikTok direct messages, Shop orders and publishing posts are not included.
